The hourly rate for our furniture artists is $100/hour. That's the equivalent of your mechanic, master plumber or electrician, and cheaper than your tattoo artist!

For a work of art handmade in Quebec that will bring you pride and compliments for many years, this is a bargain!

Prices displayed online and on our social media are before taxes and exclude shipping costs . Our prices are subject to change without notice and apply to orders that meet the stated standards.

Our quotes are valid until the expiration date indicated on them (normally 60 days except for certain promotions with specific dates). At the end of the 60 days (or the expiration indicated), the prices will be established according to the rates currently in effect. A quote signed without payment of a deposit after its expiration is no longer worth anything.

Credit cards, debit, cash, bank transfers, Interac e-Transfers and checks.

Any payment request is due upon receipt (deposit, partial or final payment).

The deposit payment must be made during the period when the submission is valid in order to formalize the order and take advantage of the promotions applied. A submission signed without a deposit payment after its expiration is no longer worth anything.

The 50% deposit is required upon signing the quote in order to reserve/order the equipment and, when possible, reserve the production slot (only for an established tentative date and exceeding our production deadlines in effect at the time of the order).

The final payment (the other 50%) is due when the order is ready in order to coordinate the pick-up. Any order with a balance to pay will not be able to leave the factory. In some cases, when some items leave the factory before the entire order is completed, we ask that the value of the items leaving the factory be paid.

Orders of $2,000 or less (before taxes), as well as our demonstrator products (regardless of value), are payable in a single payment.

An invoice for your records will be sent to you at the end of the project when final payment has been made and the order has left the factory.

Two (2) years warranty on lamination glue joints. A joint that opens during normal use*, return the furniture to the factory and we will make the appropriate repair at no charge, within a reasonable time.

Since wood is sensitive to temperature/humidity changes, we will not be able to honor this warranty for products ordered with bare wood without protection (without finish).

*Normal use does not include water damage or storage under a patio cover or in any other environment with high heat and/or humidity contrast. Abuse (e.g. your child carving their name with a fork, pet claw marks, hot dishes, chemical/abrasive spills, etc.) is not covered.

Two (2) year warranty against peeling varnish. If varnish peels or flakes under normal use*, return the furniture to the factory and we will make the appropriate repair at no charge, within a reasonable time. We use a commercial grade floor varnish, it will wear like a hardwood floor.

Please note that a 28 day curing period is required to allow the varnish to fully harden, so extra care is recommended for the surface. It is recommended not to leave rubber products in prolonged contact with the surface during the curing period, as the lacquer solvent could react and stain the surface.

*Normal use does not include water damage or storage under a patio cover or in any other environment with high heat and/or humidity contrast. Abuse (e.g. your child carving their name with a fork, pet claw marks, hot dishes, chemical/abrasive spills, etc.) is not covered.

Legal warranty for manufacturing defects. A measurement error outside normal tolerances, wrong wood species, wrong quantities, finish error. We will repair or replace the "defective" item (at our discretion) free of charge within a reasonable time.

It is 100% guaranteed that your furniture will have cracks, knots, dents, crevices, twists, colored veins and other imperfections that make the beauty of the furniture. It is normal to see the pores of the wood and feel the grain. It is normal to feel a difference in level at the knots and cracks, although filled, they follow the natural shape of the wood. It is normal to see a difference in color from one table to another and from one board to another, each tree is different, we cannot guarantee a precise pattern under any circumstances. We are dealing with living materials that react to changes in seasons, heat and / or humidity, it is normal to see a slight movement through the seasons.

The steel used is industrial grade, it is normal to see imperfections in the material given its nature. Our industrial paint will not hide these imperfections but will standardize them in color. A raw steel finish (clear coat) will neither hide nor standardize the color since it is transparent, it is only a preventive measure for oxidation.

Our measurements are given based on the raw materials we work with. It is normal to see a slight difference between the raw and finished measurement (eg. thickness 2'' raw is approximately 1-3/4'' finished). The same is true for the overall dimensions (width and length), a tolerance of approximately 1/8'' to 1/4” is considered normal (eg. width 42'' can be approximately 41-3/4'' to 43-7/8''). Our “live edge” furniture is particularly subject to dimensional deviations given the irregular nature of the material, the tolerance is greater and difficult to evaluate in this case.

Although we try to get orders out as quickly as possible, there are too many unknown and out of control factors that prevent us from guaranteeing or promising a firm date or deadline. The production times indicated are always tentative.

In addition to furniture such as our tables, benches, consoles and other small pieces of furniture of the same type, we have two separate deliverables, namely the steel portion and the wood portion, corresponding to our two main departments. Our departments have different production deadlines, so we ask that our customers come and pick up their items when each of our departments has all the items ready to leave the factory. At this time, we may ask to pay a portion of the invoice in order to cover the value of the goods leaving the factory if the deposit has not covered it completely beforehand. This policy mainly targets staircase components where the steel portion (stringer, guardrail, handrails) is generally part of the first deliverable, while the wood (steps, handrails, landings, nosings, etc.) is usually part of the second.

Our customers have ten (10) business days to pick up from the moment we communicate that the items are ready, and this for each of our two deliverables. Beyond 10 business days, a storage fee of $100/week applies.

Our promotions are designed based on material purchasing costs, traffic, production schedule and other factors that may influence market price fluctuations.

Only a promotion in effect at the time of ordering may be applied to the order.

To be fair to all our customers, no feedback for an expired promotion will be accepted, nor any adjustment for a promotion that becomes available after the order has been placed (quote signed and deposit paid).

Our products are custom made, no refunds will be accepted, THE SALE IS FINAL . A partial (deposit) or total payment of the order authorizes us to order the material specifically for the order and to work on the project, these fees are therefore non-refundable.

For rare exceptions in cases of force majeure, and if no material purchases have been made and no work performed, we may offer a factory credit for the value of the amount paid.

Since we act exclusively as a manufacturer for the design of stairs (stringers, steps, ramps and guardrails), and we are not responsible for taking measurements or installation, we cannot guarantee the accuracy of the measurements beyond the specifications provided to us by the client and/or their representative (contractor, architect, etc.). It is therefore the client's responsibility to ensure that the measurements provided are accurate. Any corrections may be made at the factory at the client's expense, including additional transportation costs if applicable.

We do not have an RBQ and/or CCQ license, we are not engineers or architects, so it is the client's responsibility to ensure that their project is structurally viable before ordering it from us. In the event that we produce production drawings, we disclaim all liability once they are approved, other than compliance with the specifications contained therein. In case of doubt, the client is responsible for verifications with a certified professional before approving the drawings and launching production.

At the time the order leaves the factory, the customer or the carrier, as the case may be, becomes responsible for the product. Any damage, from the time the product leaves our doors to be loaded into the vehicle, will be the responsibility of the customer or the carrier as the case may be.

Although our team does everything in its power to answer questions and advise customers about the different options and combinations of design/materials/finishes offered, the ultimate decision rests with the customer and he/she will be the sole and unique responsible for the result obtained since it is directly linked to his/her choices and personal tastes. Consequently, no credit or refund will be offered if the customer is not satisfied with the result of his/her choices.

It is encouraged to pick up orders at the factory at no cost. Pickups are by appointment only.

Customer must provide own packaging material.

The customer must ensure that his vehicle can receive the items ordered and have the assistance required to load his order.

We work with a transport partner to make deliveries. Deliveries are made by appointment, and according to the carrier's schedule. We will provide the carrier's contact information to all customers who want a delivery in order to make an appointment directly with them according to availability.

On our side, we will provide the carrier with a copy of the order, including the customer's name, contact information, delivery address and summary of the items ordered, so that they have everything they need to coordinate delivery with the customer. We keep the items at our factory for 10 business days free of charge from the moment we call the customer to inform them that the order is ready, after which we charge a fee of $100/week for storage. It is therefore important that the customer makes an appointment with the carrier within this period free of charge.

We do not have a home installation team. We therefore do not offer any installation of our staircase components or assembly of our furniture other than small pieces of furniture that can be assembled in the factory before delivery. We do not have a contractor's license, we are required to comply with the laws of the CCQ. The fines are extremely expensive! www.ccq.org .

You can ask our transport partner directly if they want to assemble your furniture upon delivery when making your appointment.

Furniture can be dusted with a soft, clean cloth, dry or damp. We recommend not using oil or wax-based chemicals as this will damage the protective finish of the furniture. We have factory-installed cleaning products available for sale from our finishing suppliers, so they are compatible and safe.

It is recommended not to leave rubber products in prolonged contact with the surface during the 28 day curing period, the lacquer solvent could react and stain the surface.

It is recommended to oil periodically or when the finish “whitens” and therefore dries out. Ideally, it should be included in the weekly cleaning routine. This prevents stains and preserves the shine of the wood. We have oils and waxes available for sale in the factory from our suppliers of finishing products, so they are compatible and safe.

Humidity, heat and direct sunlight are elements to control in order to preserve your furniture in the long term. Avoid prolonged exposure to the sun. Avoid large changes in temperature and/or humidity caused by the proximity of ventilation vents (heating and air conditioning). Avoid hot dishes or liquids directly on the wood, this could leave rings. It is preferable to use a trivet/coaster to protect the surface.

We do not do any color mixing at the factory. It is possible to color the wood in the color of your choice by going to have your color done by a colorist and then bringing it to us. We also have some standard colors in inventory.

All colors must be approved by the customer in person (at the factory) before production begins. We will be able to provide a sample of the customer's color on the wood chosen upon approval at the factory. This allows you to choose the color that best matches your floors, cabinets, and more.

There may be a color difference between the sample and the finished product since each wood species absorbs color differently. Our experts will do their best to achieve a result as close as possible to the chosen color.

The stains applied to wood will generally enhance the natural color variations of the wood but will not standardize them, except for opaque colors which normally saturate the wood and hide its grain. It is normal for the color to change over time following exposure to light.

The coloring costs are already included in the online price of our steps with "color match" finish. For our tables, or any other furniture, we will be happy to communicate the information according to the specific needs.
